Never Have I Ever renewed for a fourth and final season

The popular Netflix teen dramedy TV series, Never Have I Ever, has been renewed for a fourth and final season. Starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, the third season of the coming of age series about an American Indian teen, will be released later this year according to showrunner Mindy Kalin. 

Quantum Leap reboot casts Ernie Hudson

Ernie Hudson, the star of the original Ghostbusters film, has been added to the cast of the reboot of the 90s TV series, Quantum Leap. Raymond Lee, popular for Mozart in the Jungle, will play the lead for NBC’s reimagining of the hit sci-fi series. Hudson will play the role of a Vietnam veteran named Herbert “Magic” Williams.

Henry Cavill and Dua Lipa joins cast of Argylle directed by Matthew Vaughn

 The upcoming  Apple TV+  film Argylle has added Henry Cavill and singer Dua Lipa to its star-studded ensemble. The spy thriller directed by Matthew Vaughn has already added Bryan Cranston, Sam Rockwell, Catherine O'Hara, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ariana DeBose, Rob Delaney, John Cena, and Samuel L. Jackson. The film is based on an upcoming novel by Ellie Conway, with Jason Fuchs writing the script. 

Florence Pugh eyed for a part in Denis Villeneuve Dune 2

Acclaimed British actress Florence Pugh, known for lead roles in Little Women, Fighting With My Family, Midsommar, and Black Widow, is in talks to join the cast of the sequel to Oscar-nominated film Dune. If confirmed, she will play the role of the emperor’s daughter in Denis Villeneuve’s potential blockbuster. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Dave Bautista, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem are expected to return for the sequel. 

Manju Warrier and Biju Menon film, Lalitham Sundaram, set for OTT release this month 

Malayalam film, Lalitham Sundaram, starring Biju Menon and Manju Warrier will be a direct-to-OTT release. The feel-good entertainer, directed by Madhu Wariar, also features Saiju Kurup, Anu Mohan and Deepti Sati. The film will drop exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar on the 18th of March.

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul star Giancarlo Esposito to star in new drama for AMC

Giancarlo Esposito, acclaimed for his role in AMC TV shows Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, as the drug lord Gustavo Fring, is set to continue his partnership with AMC. He will star in the new series titled The Driver, and the plot revolves around a cabbie, played by Esposito, who unwittingly gets embroiled with a Zimbabwean gangster based out of New Orleans in the United States.
